Finally I'm back to Italy for the mid-term break and I'm really happy! Actually the week is already over and on Sunday I'll be back to Glion.
I felt honestly sorry about haven't been to the Expo yet, so going there was one of my "must" of the week.

Oggi vi scrivo dall'Italia! Eh sì, sono tornata a casa per una settimana, e devo dire che ci voleva proprio. Sentendomi molto in colpa per non essere ancora andata a vedere l'Expo ho dovuto rimediare e anche abbastanza in fretta!
The Swiss pavilion was the one that I couldn't miss. Switzerland was the first country to have joined the Expo Milano 2015.
The concept make us reflect upon the distributions of resources in relations to the consumption.
The pavillon opens with a question:
"Is it there enough for everyone?"
It shows abundance with four towers filled with water, salt, coffee and apples and each visitor can take as much as he wants.
It shows the shortage because there is a limit to the resources available and overtake it means depriving other visitors of the same opportunities.
The pavilion is in fact made of four towers with different foods. Its structure allows the platforms to lower as the towers get empty. So the pavilion changes its shape according to the amount of food inside.

Padiglione che non potevo perdermi è ovviamente quello della Svizzera, primo paese ad avere aderito a Expo Milano 2015.
Il suo concept fa riflettere sulla distribuzione delle risorse in relazione ai consumi.
Il padiglione si apre con una domanda:
"Ce n'è per tutti?"
Mostra l'abbondanza, con quattro torri colme di acqua, sale, caffè e mele da cui ogni visitatore può servirsene in libera quantità.
Mostra la scarsità, perchè c'è un limite alle risorse disponibili e superarlo vuol dire privare altri visitatori, in questo caso, delle stesse possibilità.
